Doreen Shearin joined Alter Surety Group, Inc. in late 2012 as a Client Relations Manager. She began her surety career as an underwriter at Amwest Surety Insurance in 1993. From 2001 to 2011, Doreen was with Insco Dico Group as a Senior Underwriting Assistant. Her expertise ranges from preliminary underwriting and analyzing bid results to processing bonds and assisting contractors through the various steps of the bonding process. Doreen’s outgoing personality, experience in the industry and desire to see the client succeed; prove that she is an asset to our clients.
Originally from Queens, New York, she moved to the South Florida area over 25 years ago. She enjoys cooking and watching movies and has a passion for empowering women through sales of jewelry from her Park Lane Jewelry business.
