David holds the position as Chief Operating Officer at Alter Surety Group, Inc.  In 2009, David partnered with Warren Alter, a childhood friend and together they founded Alter Surety Group. Through hard work and determination David has developed a diverse clientele which includes general contractors, subcontractors, and specialty trade contractors of all sizes. Eager to be involved in the community,  David was recognized in The Surety & Fidelity Association of America’s 2012 newsletter for his mentoring efforts as a volunteer for the Florida DOT Bonding Education program, which was offered to contractors in more than 20 cities. 

By 2016, Alter Surety Group had established itself as a Premier Surety Only Agency in South Florida. With expansion in the forefront, David moved his family to Austin, Texas. Over the next nine years, David worked tirelessly to bring his Surety knowledge to the Austin Area.  Building relationships with many of the top Contractors and Sureties doing business in Texas.  David is fortunate to continue to maintain and grow his Florida business, while he has successfully expanded into the Texas market.

David is a graduate of Florida State University.  He is married with four children.  Outside of the office, he enjoys golf, skiing, and spending time with his family.
