Joe joined ALTER SURETY in 2021 and quickly earned a reputation as the team’s “young gun.” A proud graduate of the University of Florida’s Heavener School of Business, he holds a degree in Finance and brings a fresh, energetic perspective to the surety industry.

With deep family roots in South Florida’s construction sector, Joe offers a practical, boots-on-the-ground understanding of what contractors truly need to thrive. He specializes in serving clients across South Florida and Central Texas, maintaining an active, hands-on presence in both regions.

After earning his General Lines Property and Casualty license in 2021, Joe launched his career under the mentorship of industry veteran Warren Alter. In 2023, he earned the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) designation, further solidifying his expertise and commitment to excellence.

Joe approaches every client relationship with an “extreme ownership” mindset. His motto—“If it can get done, I’ll make it happen”—reflects his drive, accountability, and results-oriented approach.

Joe grew up in a military family and has lived in 7 different states as well as South Korea. Outside of work, he enjoys piloting small planes and boating in his spare time.
